Life is a Pilgrimage to God (Homily)

Commemorating the building of the Church of the Holy Sepulchre (Sept 13) - which people visit to pay homage where Jesus was crucified and buried - reminds all of us to think of life itself as a pilgrimage to God.

What does this mean? While life is filled with many responsibilities, our greatest focus each day should always be paid to our journey with God who creates, redeems, and sanctifies us.
