Forgiveness is Tied to Spiritual Growth (Homily)
We are called to seek forgiveness, not only as an exercise of humility and obedience toward God, but also as a deep desire to be healed. In other words, we are called to seek mercy and to work toward greater sincerity, serenity, and simplicity within ourselves and for others.
This how we grow. This is how we spiritually mature through the light, warmth, and eternal beauty of the Holy Spirit.
