Just in case you haven't heard the news,
The world is dying and
There's nothing we can do to stop it.
But not in the ways you think.
Christ was quite clear the
World would pass away. And that
Only His Word would last forever (Mark 13:31).
This is why we work every day to live in, through, and for God.
The beloved disciple himself also explained:
Those believers that hate other believers
Live in darkness (1 John 2:11).
This is what it means to truly live, even as the world dies.
Loving God more than anything.
Loving others.
Rejecting the promises of the world (1 John 2:15-17).
This is what it means to live peacefully.
Seeking holiness
Living godliness
Waiting "for new heavens and a new earth..." (2 Peter 3:11-15).
