Fight the power of evil and all of its degrading, humiliating, disappointing, frustrating, fear-mongering tactics with the power of the nails that drove through the arms and legs of Christ, the splinters of the wood that flayed His back, and the thorns that pierced His head.
The cross is a visible sign of our stability and the source of our current and future joy. As it says in Proverbs 3:18, happiness "is a tree of life to those who lay hold of her".
