Holy Spirit Mondays

Each Monday, I send a short email to help you deepen your relationship with the Holy Spirit. It will include a quote, a brief reflection, and a short prayer asking for the intercession of the Spirit.

Read:

“... a house divided against itself falls" (Luke 11:16).

"If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him” (Luke 11:13).

Ponder:

Life is hard. People disappoint us. We disappoint them. They accuse. We insult. Then, we fight. Sometimes, one of us damns the other. But that's never the end of the story.

In the midst of all this vitriol, God reminds us to sincerely ask for the intervention of the Holy Spirit ... who already resides within and without ... who leads us to peace and forgiveness ... who is love and giftedness ... and shows us the path to the heavenly kingdom.

Pray:

"Most Holy Spirit, save me from myself and sanctify me."
