Each week I send a short email to help you deepen your relationship with the Holy Spirit. If you have a question or a prayer request, please reach out here.
Read:
I have "fallen into grievous perils ... I am... beset by perplexity ... and falling into diverse misfortunes ... like a boat upon the waves of the sea I am bestormed. O all-good Comforter, quickly rescue me from this grievous battering..." (Ode 6, "A Canon to the Holy Spirit" by St. Maximos the Greek).
Ponder:
Are you hurting? Alone? Recovering from the bad deeds of others? Seeking help for your own faults?
Ask yourself: "Have I truly thought about what it means to be helped or flat out rescued by God?"
Now, say to yourself: "I can do something today to heal and grow because I am not alone! The Holy Spirit is with me, always!"
Pray:
"Most Holy Spirit, save me from myself and sanctify me."
